TVN-Clips: Forgotten Places; The spirits of Beelitz

The 1898-1930 established by the National Insurance Institute Berlin Workers tuberculosis sanatoriums Beelitz form one of the largest hospital complexes in the surrounding areas. It is a listed ensemble of 60 buildings with a total area of about 200 ha. In two areas north of the railway line came the sanatoria, in the two southern areas sanatorium for treatment non-communicable diseases. The areas were separated by gender: west of the road, the women treatment centers and sanatoria as well, to the east of the same men treatment centers and sanatoria as well.
