Located between Wasilla, Alaska and Denali National Park, 180 miles out of Anchorage on the route towards Fairbanks, The Igloo Hotel, an unexpected four-story structure, has become a bit of a road-side attraction over the years. Construction on this architectural monstrosity began in the 1970s but as with many fanciful projects, things went wrong and the hotel never actually opened.
