Betty White’s stunning California home was put on the market last week for $10.5 million. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home is located in Los Angeles’s prestigious Brentwood neighborhood.
The Colonial-style home was first built in 1952. Betty White and her late husband Allen Ludden bought the home in 1968. According to a spokesperson, the couple was often visited at their home by Gloria and Jimmy Stewart and Dinah Shore and Burt Reynolds for game nights.
The property spans 3,029 square feet and offers coveted views of the iconic Getty Museum and nearby mountains. Along with the five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the home also includes a sunroom where White reportedly used to enjoy her yard view. The property also includes a swimming pool, a three-car garage, and a guesthouse.
The home is listed for $10.5 million by Marlene Okulick of Sotheby’s International Realty – Pacific Palisades Brokerage. News of White’s Brentwood home being for sale was confirmed only days after Betty White’s beach house in Carmel, California, was sold.
Betty White and Allen Ludden built their three-story waterfront house together, but tragically, Ludden died shortly after the home was completed. White’s 3,600-square-foot Carmel property includes four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.
Betty and Allen paid only about $170,000 for their Carmel property. In April 2022, White’s Carmel property sold for $10.775 million– which was nearly three million over the asking price of $7.95 million. Betty White died at the home on December 31, 2022.
