Images of celebrity faces are plastered everywhere. Even if you haven’t seen their movies or listened to their music, their faces are still recognizable. And sometimes these famous people have children who look exactly like them. Call it deja vu or just call it strong genes, but we can’t help but notice how much these sons look like their famous dads.
George Harrison and Dhani Harrison, in their 20s
As a Beatle, George Harrison will forever go down as a legend in the music industry. However, once the band called it quits, he became a new father to his son Dhani in 1978. Dhani also took to music growing up, which makes perfect sense considering he is a spitting image of his father.
Christopher Reeve and Will Reeve, in their 20s
The late Christopher Reeve is remembered as the world’s favorite Superman, and he first became a father in 1979. He would go on to have three children in his life, with his youngest, Will, looking strikingly similar. Like his father, Will enjoys being on camera, working as a news anchor and sports commentator.
Bob Dylan and Jakob Dylan, 33 years old
Bob Dylan is arguably one of the greatest songwriters to ever live. His musical talents paved him a legacy of gargantuan proportions. It seems only natural that when he became a father in 1969 to his son Jakob, he would pass on his affinity for music. Jakob has been the lead for the Wallflowers for over 30 years, and you might have to blink twice to be sure you’re not watching Bob Dylan himself on stage.
Robert Pine and Chris Pine, 42 years old
We bet you didn’t know Chris Pine was a nepo baby. His father, Robert Pine, used to star in the American crime drama television series CHiPs, which ran for six seasons between 1977 and 1983. While Chris has gone on to become more of a household name than his father, he is super supportive of his dad’s prolific acting career.
Michael J. Fox and Sam Michael Fox, 24 years old
One of the biggest heartthrobs of the 1980s was Michael J. Fox, and would you believe he helped create a near replica of himself? Sam Michael Fox was born in 1989. At 24, the two looked more like brothers than father and son.
John Ritter and Jason Ritter, 30 years old
John Ritter got his breakout role in the television sitcom Three’s Company, which aired for eight seasons between 1976 and 1984. He would go on to have an incredible acting career, particularly on television, and first became a father in 1980 to his son, Jason. Jason, too, has followed in his father’s footsteps but enjoys a behind-the-scenes producer position as well as being an on-screen actor.
John Lennon and Sean Lennon, 31 years old
John Lennon became a father for the second time after the Beatles had officially broken up. Sean Lennon was born to John and his wife, Yoko Ono, in 1975, and has taken a strong affinity to music, just like his dad.
Bill Pullman and Lewis Pullman, in their 30s
Bill Pullman got his first true claim to fame in the 1987 spoof film Space Balls alongside John Candy and Rick Moranis. His son, Lewis, was born in 1993, and is an apple that certainly didn’t fall far from his father’s tree. He also pursued a career in acting. In fact, he even starred in a film with his dad in 2017, called The Ballad of Lefty Brown.
Mel Gibson and Milo Gibson, 28 years old
While Mel Gibson has had a turbulent career in Hollywood recently, when he was younger, the ladies loved his good looks and charm. Although he is a dad to nine children, his son Milo seems to look the most like his father. And just like his dad, Milo is pursuing a career in acting as well.
Sean Penn and Hopper Penn, in their 20s

People always say that Sean Penn’s attraction is in his eyes, and it seems his son has been gifted with that same look. Born in 1993 to Penn and his then-wife, Robin Wright, Hopper was likely influenced by his father’s success to pursue his own career in acting, and starred in a film called Flag Day alongside his dad in 2021.
