Sylvester Stallone is best known for his portrayal of Rocky Balboa in the Rocky franchise, but his other work largely focuses on action-packed roles, earning him quite the reputation as a tough guy. His daughters say that having Stallone as their father hasn’t made dating the easiest thing in the world, and they each have their own dating horror stories to back the statement. Joining the Sibling Revelry podcast, the three girls discussed growing up with Stallone and how that has affected their love lives.
Stallone’s daughters
Sylvester Stallone has five children. His sons, Sage and Seargeoh, he shares with his first wife, Sasha Czack, whom he was married to from 1974 to 1985. His marriage to his second wife, Brigitte Nielsen, lasted only two years and produced no children, but with his third and current wife, Jennifer Flavin, whom he married in 1997, they share three daughters, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.
When they got together on the podcast, they explained what it was like growing up with Stallone as their father. The oldest, Sophia, said, “I got to do nothing growing up.” Her sister, Sistine, seconded that statement, explaining how strict the rules were growing up. “It was curfew at 10:00 p.m. and my dad would stay up,” she said. “He would literally … I would always say, I would see him with the light on in his bathroom like, ‘Oh shoot, it’s 10:05. We’re in trouble.’ No boyfriends, no dating until we were almost 18. We couldn’t drive until we were 18.”
Some dates were brutal
Now, with the girls being in their twenties, they have moved out of their parents’ house. However, they say that dating hasn’t gotten any easier just because they no longer live at home. Sistine explained that all three have dealt with dates with men who “were just pretending to like us.”
“I’ve had a guy bring a resume on a date,” she explained. “I have three great ones: I got a resume once, a headshot and a script. And they were all dinner, so I was stuck. I was like, ‘Gosh darn it, this is horrible!'” When asked what she thought of the script, she said that it was just horrible. When she told Stallone about it, “I said, ‘Sly, you would wipe your butt with it.'”
Scarlet, the youngest sister, said she’s had her dad brought up on dates many times. “I’ve got the question of like, ‘Could I beat your father in a boxing match or something?'” she said. “What do you want me to say? Like, yeah, you can beat up my father? It’s so stupid.”
The show puts their dating on display
In 2023, The Family Stallone was released, a reality television show that focused on the daily lives of the famous actor and his family. The show saw Sophia and Sistine living in New York City and all three navigating their romantic lives. Scarlet’s relationship with her boyfriend Louis was also put in the spotlight of the show.

It is the second season of the show, which was released in February 2024, that really focuses on the romantic lives of the girls. “I will say, season 2, the producers definitely said, ‘You gave us nothing season 1 about your dating life, we are going to exploit you season 2,'” Sistine joked.
