Sean Connery was born to a modest family; his father, Joseph Connery, was a factory worker and truck driver, while his mother, Euphemia “Effie” McBain, worked as a cleaning woman. Connery left school at 13 and worked various jobs, including delivering milk, laboring, and even posing as an artist’s model.
