Jacqueline Kennedy was born on July 28, 1929, in Southampton, New York. She became the First Lady when her husband, John F. Kennedy, was elected President in 1960. After JFK’s tragic assassination in 1963, Jackie faced a challenging public life as a widow. Despite her grief, she remained an iconic figure, admired for her grace and style.

Aristotle Onassis, born on January 15, 1906, in İzmir, Turkey, was known for his successful shipping business. He owned one of the largest private fleets in the world. Before marrying Jackie, he was married to Athina Livanos, with whom he had two children. His wealth and reputation made him one of the most famous men in the world, and his relationship with Jackie captivated many.

The wedding took place on Skorpios, Onassis’s private island in Greece. It was a small, intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends. Jackie wore a simple yet elegant gown, which reflected her timeless style. Although the event was private, it quickly became a topic of discussion in the media, with many people intrigued by the marriage of these two prominent figures.

Jackie and Aristotle spent their time between Greece and the United States, often on his luxurious yacht, the Christina. Their marriage was marked by both romance and challenges. After Onassis passed away in 1975, Jackie returned to the U.S. and continued to influence American culture through her work in the arts and historic preservation.
