Aristotle Onassis, born on January 15, 1906, in İzmir, Turkey, was known for his successful shipping business. He owned one of the largest private fleets in the world. Before marrying Jackie, he was married to Athina Livanos, with whom he had two children. His wealth and reputation made him one of the most famous men in the world, and his relationship with Jackie captivated many.

The wedding took place on Skorpios, Onassis’s private island in Greece. It was a small, intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends.
